Welcome to the Book of Sunder
The Alarm Rings
.

.
At night I sleep
My mind leaves this wasted world
There's no sense in it
The world not mine to keep
.
I feel like I'm flying high
flying, seeing, smiling, feeling
that sky that envelops my sleep
I don't think it's a lie
.
Though it's not what it seems
I see you; and you call me to your side
We fly through the stars and domains above
How perfect is the life of our dreams!
.
Love blinds us, we know it's so
Nothing can sense us
Nothing can stop us
The dream can take us where we know
.
Confusion is their illusion
A gift of their temporary sanity abounds
My dream is free of all things
A perfect but apprehensive vision
This dream perfection is ephemeral
For soon my alarm sounds
