The majority of companies don't back up their data effectively.
Often, backup software is not running, only a portion of a hard drive is being backed up, or the backup is failing completely - it's easy to ignore error messages when they seem to make no sense. Many companies do the job manually, leaving the system wide open to problems such as overwriting the wrong files, or overwriting good data with corrupt data.
And most companies don't test their backups. Backups need to be tested regularly.
Big problems are always unexpected. Big problems might occur 5 minutes from now. Or 5 months from now. And even the small business can be rendered inoperable for weeks, and can lose thousands of dollars from an IT disaster that, with proper backing up, could've been resolved in an hour.
It is not a good idea to learn the hard way. It is a good idea to get your backups sorted now.
Your backup strategy should be reviewed every 12 months, as part of your Annual Information Security Audit. That way, new PCs, new employees, and new software, are all accounted for in your backup strategy. And the extraneous components are dropped, saving you space, time, and money.
Brainlink can make sure that your company is ready to get right back on track should there be a disaster. We can make sure you have a fully-functioning, complete, and up-to-date backup system. We make the backup process invisible and automatic.
